Breweries, Bars & Coffee Shops — Custom Apparel
Custom Brewery, Bar & Coffee Shop Apparel and Merch — Southern California
For a brewery, taproom or coffee shop, merch is not a side project — it is high-margin product sitting next to the register with your logo on it. The Printing Needle prints for Southern California breweries, taprooms, bars and coffee shops from our Garden Grove shop, and we handle both sides of it: the staff apparel that has to survive a shift, and the retail merch that has to be good enough that people pay for it.
Retail merch and staff apparel need different decisions. Merch should be on garments that feel good — customers will not pay for a stiff, boxy shirt — and it works best in small seasonal drops so you are not sitting on dead inventory. Staff apparel needs to survive spills, dishwashers and constant washing, which is why aprons get embroidered. We keep artwork on file so a seasonal release or a restock of last summer's best-seller is quick.
What We Print for Breweries, Bars & Coffee Shops
Screen printing, embroidery, DTF and DTG — all in-house in Garden Grove.
Soft garments, soft-hand prints. The stuff customers actually buy and wear.
Bib and waist aprons for bar and coffee staff, stitched to survive the wash.
Tees, polos and button-downs in your brand colors.
Small runs tied to a beer release, an anniversary or a season.
Embroidered headwear — often your best-margin item.
Beer festivals, tap takeovers and pop-ups.
Which Method Fits Your Order
We recommend the method that fits the job — not the one that is easiest for us.
The workhorse for retail merch runs and staff tees. 24+ pieces gets better per-piece pricing — a suggestion, never a requirement.
Aprons, caps, beanies and staff polos.
Full-color artwork, small limited drops and mixed garment colors with no screen setup.
One-off samples and single shirts before you commit to a run.

No job too small. No job too big.
We print for brands that sell to Macy's, Ross, TJ Maxx, Fashion Nova and PacSun — and for the schools, teams and restaurants down the street. There is no order minimum. For screen printing we suggest 24 pieces or more because the per-piece price drops, but it is a suggestion, never a requirement.

Breweries, Bars & Coffee Shops — FAQ
Start smaller than you think and reorder the winners — dead merch inventory is the usual mistake. There is no minimum, though screen printing at 24+ pieces gives you a better per-piece price.
Softer, retail-fit blanks. Customers paying full price for a shirt notice the feel immediately, so we steer breweries and coffee shops toward premium blanks with soft-hand prints rather than the cheapest tee.
Embroidered. Aprons take constant washing plus spills, and stitching stays put where a print will crack.
Yes, and that is a great use of DTF — full-color artwork, small quantity, no screen setup to pay for.
Standard production is 5-7 business days after artwork approval, with rush service in 1-3 days. Call (714) 766-4601 if a release date is tight.
