How DTF Transfers Work

DTF printing uses a specialized printer to print your design onto a clear PET film using CMYK + white ink. A hot-melt adhesive powder is applied to the wet ink, then cured. The finished transfer is then heat-pressed onto your garment at around 300-325°F for 15-20 seconds.

The result? A vibrant, full-color print that works on virtually any fabric, cotton, polyester, blends, nylon, leather, and more.

Why DTF Is Taking Over

  • No color limits: Full CMYK color reproduction means photographic images, gradients, and complex designs are no problem
  • Works on any color garment: The white ink base means your design pops on black, dark, and colored fabrics
  • Works on any fabric: Unlike DTG (which prefers cotton), DTF transfers bond to polyester, nylon, tri-blends, and more
  • No minimums: Need one transfer? No problem. Need 1,000? Also no problem.
  • Incredible durability: DTF prints are stretchy, washable, and hold up extremely well over time
  • Cost-effective: No screens to set up, no color charges, the price is based on the size of your print
